Google Play Developer Account Status
Account closed for inactivity? First identify what Google actually closed.
Inactive closure, termination, verification restriction and login/access problems require different actions. DirectFetch helps classify the status and plan the correct route.
Important policy point
Inactive closure is not the same as account recovery.
Google states that developer accounts closed due to inactivity cannot simply be reactivated. A developer may be able to create a new account in the future, subject to Google's current requirements. Previous apps and data are not restored to that new account.
What DirectFetch sells hereStatus classification, new-account readiness, organization/personal account route guidance, app rebuild or migration planning where technically applicable—not a false guaranteed reopening promise.
Closure classificationDetermine whether the message is inactivity closure, termination, restriction or access loss.
New account routeAssess the appropriate current onboarding path where Google allows a new developer registration.
Organization optionFor legitimate businesses, assess organization developer onboarding requirements.
App continuity planningReview source code, package/application status and what can realistically be rebuilt or republished.
