Production Access Readiness Checklist
Use this as a preparation tool. The exact testing and production-access requirements displayed by Google for your account remain the source of truth.
Confirm your current Play Console testing requirements directly in your account.
Make sure testers can install, open and use the app rather than only opt in.
Collect practical feedback about onboarding, crashes, navigation and core features.
Fix high-impact issues found during testing and record what changed.
Keep release notes and testing dates organized so your timeline is easy to explain.
Check that the production build is materially ready for real users, not only a placeholder or unfinished demo.
Review store listing, privacy policy, Data Safety and app-content declarations for consistency.
Prepare concise answers about who tested the app, how feedback was collected and what improvements were made.
Avoid invented tester activity or copied answers that do not reflect your actual test.
Check whether any unresolved policy, verification or technical warning could block production.
Take screenshots of important testing and Play Console statuses for your records.
Review your production-access submission once more before sending it.
How to use this checklist
Work through each item using your current project and Play Console information. If an item does not apply, document why. Keep screenshots or notes for important decisions so you can trace what changed if a review issue appears later.
Note: Google Play requirements can change. This checklist is a preparation aid, not a substitute for the current Play Console instructions or official policy documentation shown for your account and app.
